We teach our children from a very early age to value learning. Of course the information that one learns is valuable but the process for learning is also extremely relevant for a child's mental and emotional growth. Art lessons for children nurtures the human soul! (It feels good to do it!) Children can share and reflect on their art to learn about themselves, each other, and the world in which they live. Engagement in the arts nurtures the development of social and personal competencies.
